Mesh network

Just built a large extention, existing WiFi doesn't reach, also weak on other areas of the house, was thinking a mesh network would be a easier solution than multiple routers.

Do they all the ap need to reach one central hub? Which are the best ones to go for?

Did you by any chance fit Cat6 ethernet points in this large extension?

Would highly recommend a proper wired solution than a mesh one. Especially if you're expecting to daisy-chain several mesh units, your wifi/speed will probably end up crumbling to dial up.
