any 1 know where i can get a piece of mesh preferably either dark blue or black

dimensions 36cm x 36cm in hexagon cut if possible?

reason, added a delta fan as a cpu fan, remove acrylic windowed panel, cpu temp drops even more.......

And you will pay through the nose, see if there is an engineering factory or metalwork shop around. i get my perspex, ali, mesh for arounf 20% of the cost of a DIY shop.

find a stockists that sells acryan meshx it comes in black in sheets of 500mmx500mm and is excellent stuff.
im using it on my custum build and it looks great

well i couldnt find anywhere that specialised in mesh so trip to BnQ

they stock mesh that you put round radiators so i grabbed a bit at 50cm x 50cm there was ample of the stuff.

grabbed a can of black paint from Focus D.I.Y after visiting my mums for a glue gun as i decided black mesh would look better than silver.

all in all i think i've done a good job

but it looks worth it

tempretures are down, delta fan noise is up though lol

Much nicer. I did the same to my 3D Aurora to get some extra airflow for my water cooling. Looks much better than before.

only downside i've noted a area of the black looks more silvery so back for more paint me thinks, mask the blue up n black it a bit...

did you remount that window fan anywhere or you just letting the mesh do what it does and let the case breathe ?

fan hanst been remounted at all

only fans in the system are 2 back fans 80mm

delta 60mm ehe fan on the cpu

and 1 psu fan

the mesh allows airflow to be good enough without needing an additional fan

noticed last nite that some of the mesh down the nearer side was looking a bit silverish,

therefore anotehr trip to focus for anotehr can of paint.
