Message when shutting down

Hi all

I went to shut down my PC and had a message pop up about exceptions, Just want to know if you lot know anything about this...

Im guessing its because the apps are running still, However they arent physically running on screen so i must be closing them down incorrectly

Haha! Origin...

I had this Origin error for about 2 years over 2 different PCs, only recently has it appeared to resolve itself and I don't know how.

It appears so, Google it and you'll get a load of hits for the same thing.

Other than that, it's normal to get a screen saying that it's shutting down apps (behind that error message).

I've had it primarily with Origin for ages, Spotify has done it to me a few times recently as well though.

Complete PITA and not really a 'fix' but I've just gotten into the habit of closing origin from the notification area before shutting down :rolleyes:

Atleast i know its only a minor thing nothing to worry about, Might just get rid of Origin anyway and get PES18 through steam

Pfft found out today my origin account has been hacked.

:-)

cannot change the password the hacker seems to be russian because when i try to use my security answer it the question is all in russian and seems to have changed that answer.

is there no other way for you to reset it without them getting the new information

Well i am in contact with them through facebook, only took a few minutes to get a response which is good i think.

Ah yeah that old one - had it on and off with Origin when shutting down.

Never got my Origin account compromised but I did enable 2 factor authentication after reading horror stories.

Well that was quick, they have changed my security question from russian to english and am now waiting for an email code, so now it is sorted all most.

I hope you get your problem sorted as well, since your origin it causeing you a headache.

Mine has never done this before, nor has it now or prehaps ever will.
