If you can get on with other accounts and your own passport account is ok, it's probably their end.

Can you not just use the messenger troubleshooter thing?

That tests all connection faults etc.

I had a similar problem it turned out to be my time and date settings my year was set wrong and it wouldn't let me sign in!

Mine breaks everyday. Running the Troubleshooter than hitting 'Repair' after it finishes always fixes it.

I remember when mine went **** up once when i did a reinstall of windows, just had the little cluedo ppl spinning around for ages saying signing in, after a while though it just worked again, i knew there was nothing wrong with MSN as i had it on before i did my reinstall.
