Thats where the problem lays gilly. The resolution it scans at is utter rubbish. So i am appealing to anyone who know a better freeware scanner please. Ta

300dpi is not rubbish? May be your used to it but am at 1080 at least... Things have moved on since then mrk.

Windows Fax and Scan has up to 2400 DPI. However, not all printers are capable of scanning at this resolution.

As stated previously, your printer may be the issue here.

Looks like we got ourselves a bad ass over here.

1080dpi? Are you planning in examining the strand quality of the paper being scanned as well? I suggest a dpi101 cram session.

The pictures aren't loading because I'm blocked by the work firewall but I'm gonna take a quick guess and say it's the English language

hahah could very well be fluff. No one has yet provided concrete answer as to what those symbols are. We are still searching fellows.

In my understanding those symbols are of unknown purpose. Because no one has deciphered what they mean! May be someone one day will.

Resolution my be adjusted but when it scans some portions of image are left out. Why? I like whole page to scan. FAIL!

hahah not funny or accurate at because it scans same document over and over same way with holes. Other documents it scans better. Its software side thus.
