Even without Meta spending money to produce big titles I still think they'll be plenty to play, the modding scene for flat to VR games is evolving all the time, found out on Reddit yesterday that Fallout New Vegas has a mod to give it full motion controller 6 DOF support now when used with VorpX to VR it, this game works really well with VorpX and with motion controller support it should be excellent (the base game itself is good). The modding scene is pretty vibrant now so with flat screen games always coming out, so will mods to VR them, it's not going away any time soon. I'll miss MR though if that goes away (my app is primarily MR).
