for me personally im not seeing enough consistency in design to make a judgement call on looks.
these look like concept designs.

based on those concept images it looks similar to quest 3. not a big fan of the 2 big cameras at the front looking like eyes.
still looks same size as a Q3 to me

Specs seem appropriate. I wonder who is producing the micro-oled lenses? The resolutions mentioned don't match the Sony lenses in say the Pimax Dream Air.

According to a Chinese VR news outlet, Meta's next headset will use 2560×2560 micro-OLED displays, similar to Bigscreen Beyond headsets.

Is there a need for a pro headset. The last one didn't sell too well despite the specs and will 'pro' users chose it over other high end headsets.

The Quest 3s is just a cheaper version of the Quest 3

Quest 4 is (i assume) will be the gaming headset

Tbh, all companies are relatively the same, look at bytedance who makes the pico headsets to name another.

Companies are always guilty of at least something, whether we like it or not

Why?

Meta is losing crazy amounts of money trying to trend chase and that's continuing. They thought VR gaming was the future, then VR work, now they realised gaming is a money losing venture and VR isn't popular for work, now they're pivoting to AR for work

At least VR enjoyers got a pretty good number of years of VR gaming being a thing, it could have died out as fast as the Nintendo virtual boy but companies like Meta donating billions to the industry has kept it alive for a long time
