So it looks like this is officially a game and not a tech demo as had been speculated about.

So you play as Naked Snake/Big Boss and it looks like it is post peace walker talking about Paz etc.

No idea if this is current gen or not but this video surely isn't running on a PS3, hoping it comes to PC also.

Sincerely hope there is an epic collectors edition and will pick up on PC+PS3/4 if it is multiplatform.

Off to play 3 again now :D
 
Oh good PC title too, although doubt it'll be on steam.

Is this the project they were advertising posts for on their sites or is this the prequel to that? (Like you said this is mgs5 prequel.)

Looks like Grounds Zeroes is intended to be a "prologue" game to whatever the eventual Metal Gear Solid 5 will be according to a lot of news websites. And it's an open world game too.

Going to be interesting to see what more they will do to play out Big Boss' history.
 
A lot of the start of the trailer was a bit nonsense, but when it go to showing that its about Big Boss, my attention perked up. Be good to see a game that goes back into the Metal Gear Solid past, as MGS3 was so good and I started to find that some of the stuff in MGS4 was a bit far fetched.

Seemed a strange way to end the trailer though.

I've said it before in other threads, but exclusives are dead now. There is too much money to be made by releasing across all platforms. The only way something can become exclusive these days is if its owned by the console manufacturer or they buy out the Publisher/Developer producing the game.
