Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes

Anyone know more information on the QR Code for the Xbox One version?

I don't want to scan it right away, although it does say above the code:

"For detailed information on the DLC go to konami-europe.com/GZDLC and only returns the Japanese 404 redirect.

On looking at the Konami EU site, it's quite an old design and not massively informative other than a 'news' section.

Anyone had any joy with this?

A Serbian film was hilarious. The violence was so silly it was hard to take serious... still pretty sick stuff, especially at the end.

EDIT: Just finished it. Is that it? Rescue two prisoners, roll credits. What did I just play?

There is no camo, though apparently you can unlock a cyborg ninja skin somehow. Just have to rely on darkness and sneaking to blend in. Its not really an environment that requires camo to be honest though. I imagine the Phantom Pain will have some form of camouflage

Yes that is the whole game in its entirety. Don't worry about those 5 other missions or anything else. Don't forget to leave an "Omg £25 for a demo lololol 1/10" review on metacritic.

Ive done the main and side missions except the locked one on normal. Will go back to try and do a few of them on hard. I can see why theres a price debate here, it doesnt bother me as i knew what it was going in. But imagine people just buying it thinking its the new mgs game and being utterly dissapointed. But for £25 anyone would wonder why its cheaper than the other games

I like it, its got me excited for the full mgs5. I dont see myself 100%ing this thiugh, but will see
 
Brought the PS4 version for £20 earlier from Sainsburys (using a £3 off voucher the missus give me), must say rather enjoyed it. My first MGS game, and Ill definitely pick up the next one.

I doubt Hayter was demanding more money than Kiefer Sutherland lol.

I imagine he wanted a different voice actor for boss as he is older and they are going to have Solid in one Phantom Pain which would be dumb Hayter playing both, hence someone else played Big Boss in 4.

Aw comon, I assumed Kojima had successfully defused this by being upfront and pretty transparent rather than waiting for the release date hoping semi-pro DFs were able to work out how to present objective information professionally...

Indeed, David Hayter was as shocked as the rest of us, as he was never even approached, yet alone given a chance to squabble over money

Sure, theres side stuff but why bother putting out a product like this? Why not make it longer? Just seems kinda lazy.

If they added MGO to this, it would justify the price.
 
I traded in a few games for this so only paid a few quid. While technically it's good it's only demo size and so worth no more than 10 pounds. I imagine they have burnt a lot of good will putting this out hope it was worth it. I kind of hope it's not successful as if it is other games will follow.
 
bought this off the store last night for 24. couldnt be bothered to make my way to town to save 4 quid, or wait for a copy off amazon :p gonna get stuck into it later!

I doubt it too, hence why I said "for all we know".

I like the theory about Hayter being in the PP, though.
 
Think I'll just be renting this one. not because of the length mind, just because I didn't enjoy some of the other MGS games. Loved 1 and 3 but that's it.

Speedruns etc don't bother me as you can speedrun most games in about 5% of the time or less it takes to complete it normally.
People did speedruns on PS1 games such as Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Sure someone did TR2 in less than 1 hour.

These are games I love to take my time in, explore, find everything and calculate my next move. OK so you CAN just run past everything but you can in many games so it means nothing.

If it takes 10 minutes t speed run, I suspect it'll be a good few hours for me. I'll probably spend >10 minutes hiding under 1 truck before I make my next move!!! LOL
 
Ended up keeping my preorder... :rolleyes:

Played through the main campaign twice, and although I do like the game, there's not enough content to justify a £20 price tag. Campaign will take anywhere from 1-2 hours to complete, depending on how good you are at the game.

Love the look of the game & it's done it's job getting me hyped for the full release. Several different challenges/missions all based around the same area do not constitute as extra content for me. I'm not one to try to unlock extra features by trying to attain a better rank. I'd rather just play the game, enjoy the action and not get penalised for having to make a kill or two on the way.

Did you not realise what you were paying for before you actually bought it? Or did you realise but still fancied moaning about it anyway? :p
