The saddest part about this is "minimal cutscenes and codec calls as you move."

What do people think of this release? Im not a die-hard MGS fan so perhaps its why my viewpoint is what it is. Im annoyed at Kojima/Konami about this, because to me, whatever their intentions, its hard to disagree with the payable demo crowd.
Couple of footnotes though; a) GT5 Prologue is probably the nearest previous game to this, but with its gametypes inherent replayability it gets away with it IMHO and; b) Developers are well aware of todays gamers attention span which leads to the cold harsh reality that making longer games arent an obvious, useful benefit. See CODs campaign length or ME2s completion rates...
The biggest problem for me to understand is why GZ even exists. Why put out an 8hr game for £20 when one thats '200 times bigger' is for around £50? Are we to blame for GZ existing?!? Do they think we cant wait for PP?!?
I forsee GZ and its news/reflections damaging/questioning Kojimas reputation. That dichotomy between GZ and PP is puzzling...

Someone did a speed run through the game and it took under an hour.
Game can be completed in 11 minutes?
Order cancelled.
