Im waiting for the EU release in case if theres DLC for MGS: PW at least that will be no hassle to buy - if it was a pure HD re-release I wouldnt have worried, I guess theres a chance with PW being new to the PS3 though...

I thought Peace Walker was just a straight port of the PSP version?

Probably is - doesnt stop them adding DLC for it though? Unlikely though it might be its not really in the same category as other HD collections that are normally based on older/last generation games

my US copy arrived yesterday so ill test it over the weekend and post my thoughts. its the hd collection and was 34 ish posted from axelmusic place.

Got my US copy last friday and only played for 2 hours and from what I have seen so far it is amazing.

You also get the original MG 1 and 2 built into MGS3.

played about half hour on mgs 2 and pieces3 today. i definitely prefer no. 3 for the camera angle etc. it looks pretty decent in hd but the textures are a bit lacking.

question though when it says i need to do a mission and not kill anyone if i tranq someone and stab them without being seen is this okay?

Take it that's on peace walker? If the stab is non lethal? Then yeah if not stick to the tranq gun.

This game is brilliant, finished my first run through of MGS3 last night need to go through again collecting all the food and kerotans and one more camo the fury who I killed non lethally but didn't get his camo?

Have they removed the nightmare mini game from mgs3?
