Not going to help, the metal gear HD collection is now available from Amazon.com in the us i just checked...unless there is a specific extra game in the UK version compared to the US one then the delay is purely financial/demand building as far as i see it/low UK/EU priority from konami.

Im going to import it. the US version includes:

MGS2
MGS3
MGS Peace Walker.

Infact i just checked and you can buy the PS3 Vers for £34.99 shipped today from ebay.co.uk...i think ill get it done later.

Just too busy with other games unfortunately - next year suits me betters o more than happy to wait. Ive preordered it for about £25 too, so no need to cancel that...

im on my phone now so don't have it to hand. but go to ebay UK and search for metal gear solid hd. there's only 1 seller at 34.99 with free shipping. he has 10+ available possibly shipping from blackpool ...

Found it. But the listing is saying "Game is due for release on 03.02.12. It will be shipped as soon as it becomes available"
 
I've ordered this off eBay from video games plus, mine was dispatched on the 4th hopefully I'll get this before the weekend.
 
Sweet just had cancellation of my order.

I have a housemate who is online a lot and can ruin any attempt to online game so something i can play offline like MGS would be great:) Going to rebuy now as an import.

Oh dear ordered via axelmusic, then paid by paypal, except it never moved to order confirmation stage - but i cant re pay through paypal it says the invoice has already been paid or something:/

I just checked the trophy list for MGS2 - finish ALL VR missions with a first rating?!

There were a few missions (especially thinking MGS1 Snake section here) that I couldn't even complete, let alone with a top rating :(
