Metal Gear Survive

I have, the PC BETA is woefully bad.

No video options, no key binding options (when i go into the settings it just shows an xbox pad, even though I don't have one plugged in), the mouse doesn't seem to work properly in menus, frame rate locked at 60fps.

Gameplay seems utter gash as well.

Think something wrong there I could change display options, res, keys and graphics ? etc.

Even if this was the greatest game I would not go for it, Kojima is an idol to me and I cannot support a company that treated him as badly as they did.
As for MGS games Phantom Pain was far too open in a wilderness with barely anything in, Guns of the Patriots was just 1 big cutscene leaving the last decent MGS being Snake Eater.

Personal favourite though is the PS1 original... nothing can compare, just badly needs to be remade with modern controls and visuals.

Just give us the MGS HD Collection on PC, PITA to grab my 360 out the cupboard and mess with yet more messy wires, least that'll raise some type of reputation to the company for me.

Praise the lord for BETA, 60 minutes of playing this was enough for me to cancel a pre order.... I thought it looked interesting, but it's gash.

The fact that its out today and Steam were selling it at £39.99 pre-order and now dropped to £23.99 on CDKeys kind of tells you it sucks. The mostly positive reviews suggest its not a MG game at all and just a Zombie survival game are disappointing. The description of having to eat every 5 minutes, you cant do a simple task like boiling water to later grind, er levels and you kill zombies with a pointy stick makes me think they tried to jump on the survival bandwagon and its nothing new. Maybe if it drops to sub £15 I might take a punt.

It is quite a saving on CDKeys but there's no point to CDKeys if doesn't sell games for cheaper than Steam. Or are you saying it was going for more on CDKeys?

Kojima acted like he had a blank cheque. He was sucking up a huge amount of money for a game development that was dragging on and was understandably parted with.
If Konami hope they can make some money from re-using existing assets I don't blame them.

If you look at games like FIFA18 or similiar good AAA titles they were rarely cheaper than £32.99 when they came out often actually going up in price on CD Keys. For them to drop it from £34.99 to £23.99 on day of release is a bit telling ?
