Meteor Impact in Iran???

Somehow i get the impression if something drops out of the sky in iran and makes a loud bang the idea that it's a meteor probably isn't the first thing the locals thought of.

The lack of condemnation of this event from community leaders is just not acceptable. When are we going to see all the supposedly moderate space debris marching in solidarity and publicly stating that these attacks are "not in my name"?
