Yeah stock default clocks m8, 725 / 1000.

kedge what did u do to miniaturise ur results like that?

Click on File at top left of metro2033 results web page \ click Save Page As...\ in the next window choose Save as type: All Files, it will save it as a webpage and you just click to open through your browser. Then i just use Print Scr on keyboard then fire up windows Paint, hit Ctrl + V then click crop and outline the part i want to, then click crop again and save the file. I often use irfanview to resize the image to my preference.

The funny thing is, enabling phsyx on my 5970 (which now performs as expected) does not cause much fps loss (around 3-10 at most) although DOF does. It fluctuates so much that I may just live without very high. Does anyone find that fps drops considerably on the prologue level when you fight the first monsters after putting the gas mask on?

cant u use the Launcher program to keep it very high but turn off DOF?

It's getting to the point for me where I may as well switch back over to nvidia. I had 0 problems with my 8800 gtx, and I see more and more games taking advantage of phsyx etc. What do?

I've gone from Nvidia which i was with for like 8 years or so to ATI and to be honest i see no difference at all driver wise.The problem is you bought a 5970 which isn't that great with ATI drivers whereas their single gpu cards work absolutely fine with them.

I think it's something causing it not related to the drivers...you could try turning that crossfire option off in CCC and see if it makes any difference.

Anyway you should hold out until the 6 series are out which is Oct 25th i think.

Couldnt get DOF to work in Eyefinity and 16xAF was just a slideshow with one card

Single 5870 - Metro 2033 DX11 5348x1050 VeryHigh AAA, AF4x, DOF disabled:

5870 Crossfire - Metro 2033 DX11 5340x1050 VeryHigh AAA, AF16x, DOF disabled:

Changing AF to 4x only gained an extra 2 fps. Pretty disappointing results tbh and one of the reasons i'm going back to single monitor gaming.
