Metro 2033 vsync?

Hey there
Reinstalled metro 2033 on my brothers system and whacked everything up to full but encountered a problem.
My bro has a really good system and metro runs at around 100-120 fps most of the time and never goes below 70.
There is no vsync option and after a bit of searching we found both the games config and the steam one and forced vsync on through them both but alas it still runs at high fps and tearing is doing my head in.

Anyone know of a way to force 60?

I use MSI Afterburner, using the "display server". You can either apply it to one .exe, or you can apply it globally. You can lock the framerate at anything you like (I used it for 25 and 30fps on my laptop). It's good if you want to lock at 45fps or something...

Your brother's system must be pretty juicy to run Metro 2033 with everything maxed out.

Never thought I'd get 60fps on Metro at max LOL. Does get the cards hot though.
