The Hellsing is in Dead City 1 after you and Bourbon get split up and just after you come across a Demon chowing down on some guys corpse, it's a bit awkward to get to so you are best off checking the wiki for that.

What's with the auto kill anyway, is that a bug? It sounds like a pssst noise then they drop dead...

Ahhhh ok, there was me going WTH? I thought it was a bug since I killed one guy myself then on restart from checkpoint he died automatically.

I've found it all pretty easy up until now in all honesty so you must be some uber gamer in comparison to me. Meh, need to get my FPS skillz up to scratch. Haven't done any proper FPS gaming since RTCW. Casually played many others but not to a level where I was any good!

Cool, managed it by sneaking down the far left and shooting one dude, then legging it to the exit. Didn't realise how close the exit was, duh!

This is not a difficult game.

As soon as I got the ball bearing gun that's pretty much all I used till you end up on the surface with those gorilla things.

If I remember rightly you need to let that buggy thing see you then dissapear down a stair case and the patrolling soldiers will follow you, you hide at the bottom of the stairs and shoot them in the back as they come down.

I loved the stealth gameplay in Metro. The thrill of sneaking through and throwing knives then reuseing them again was cool. I took a hit from that guys hookah in the crates and everything went all trippy lol.

When you get further you have the option to buy some supressed weapons and some stealth gear i'd definately do that. You can also take out lights with a supressed gun for extra cover. It took a few attempts at the part you're up to but I was determined to do it stealthy although for the last part after you come out from the crates I think I just ran straight to the door!

DIdnt want to create a separate thread... I cant even start the game, it CTDs immediately after the flash intro of THQ!

I'm running the latest 310.70 drivers and every other game runs perfect. Anybody else has such problems?

EDIT: Problem solved by reinstalling PhysX standalone and repairing it.

Cool. I found that D3Doverrider crashes it when I try to force vsync that way. I used nvidia control panel instead which seems to work. This game has absolutely terrible tearing without vsync.

I also run vsync through control panel as the game looks like jelly without it.

What is weird is the lack of options for configuring video - this was a PC exclusive after all, no? I could not even disable the depth of field thing without running it in Dx9 or something :confused:

Change difficulty?

I'm getting a bit of a kicking on one level and need to change the difficulty level briefly!
But I don't appear to have the option?

i remember that level! first time through i did it all guns blazing but tried the alternative and managed to stealth through the entire thing, right up until the cart at the end

took me forever to do haha gets to the GRRRRRRR point pretty quickly
