Metro 2033

Nope, guns dont feel right, enemies are bullet sponges, characters are one dimensional. also why does it have a soviet feel when the bombs land in 2012/13? all the stars and red banners etc. also doesnt run well on dx11 with any card. ill give the game one thing though....its pretty :)

It's a great story, it's based on a Russian novel. :)

Im just at the end of the book. Thought Id read it first before playing it.

Out of about 18 chapters... about 4 have been good.

The author has a very chaotic style, One minuite he is saying something, next miniute with out leading you there, he telling you something completly random and out of the blue...

I'd give it a 6/10.

JUst bought for £6. More unplayed games in my steam folder
Now i will se if my gainward 4870x2 is still up to the job ,i suspect not :(
I'll wait till tomorow to download though when my virgin line gets upgraded to 50 meg:D

you guys will regret it, on the plus side its only 6 bucks. Im sure the 4870x2 will run it. its just hard to run on dx11 settings and highest dx10. 50 meg bb, you wont ever go back!

81 on Metacritic, I'm sure a few will enjoy it and consider it a pretty great game, crap like Medal of Honor is almost 5x the price of this.

you guys will regret it

You voiced your opinion, you didn't like it, that is where your contribution to the thread should end.

Anyway, it's a good game, it's a bit short but very atmospheric and with a fairly interesting story, I've played through it about half a dozen times now purely because allot of the levels can be done very differently. Whatever you do though play it on hard or above.
