I was playing a bit of Metro Last Light Redux on Steam prior to the latest Nvidia driver update. Following the driver update the game crashes whenever it tries to load a up a level and continue. I've tried verifying the integrity of the game cache and starting in safe mode with no improvement. Googled the issue but found nothing useful.

Can anyone else with an Nvidia card and the latest drivers fire up the game and let me know whether it is still working for you please?
 
I no longer have the game installed, but if it was working prior to the driver update it does sound like rolling back the driver is likely to resolve the problem.
 
Metro titles can suffer from corrupt saves, I had it in the past and ended up downloading a completed save and started from the last level I finished as nothing else worked, only option I had as I hate restarting games and playing through them again to get to where I was.
 
Forgot to say I'm using the Tomb Raider Game Ready driver, don't know if there's a newer driver but that's which one I'm using, once the lads finished on it I'll check the release no. and report back.
 
They crash for me as well on startup sometimes the Redux', and im on AMD, have to restart my PC and fire them up to get em going, they're hit and miss.

Its strange, as ive got the originals as well, and i don't have any problems with those. :p
