yeah, definitely on rails but great game... crank it up if ya PC can run it... cant wait for Metro 2034
 
Got this in the Steam Christmas sale and finished it last week. Really enjoyed it although as mentioned, a bit on rails. Didn't enjoy the floating ball things or the librarian, but other than that, it was a really good game!

(what other good games similar to this are there??)
 
I bought it in the steam sales, played it for a few hours as already mentioned it is a bit on rails. It uses save points rather than save games and a after a few CTD I could not be bothered with it again.
 
Amazing game, with great atmosphere and story worth that price but if your on budget and want some thing to last you longer look else where, the game is very liner and short took me 9 hours to complete.
 
I would say just about. Little to no replay value.

Typical Russian to English story translation issues (as in forget trying to follow it as it makes no sense).

Gfx are not even that good they flatter to deceive its poorly designed as a game & frustrating in places as the checkpoints mean you can get stranded with poor weapons & have to keep AI teamates alive which can be very frustrating.

I would say its average at best apart from 1 or 2 DX11 light ray filters its a pretty forgettable experience :(
