I liked the look of this game and just wondered if it was worth buying on steam? I think it's about £13.

Really enjoyed Metro, never completed it though it auto saved at a part where I had just gone crazy for lulz and didn't have any other save point -.-

You know if you chose Load at the main menu you can just restart the level? Or you can just restart the level from in game for that matter.

OP, it's a great game, atmospheric, creepy, good looking and fun, well worth it.

Very good game great atmosphere, great story, very power hungry game only down side it is very short game took me 9 hours to complete, the game is very liner too so you might not want to do a rerun.

Worth grabbing if you can get it for a budget price. I enjoyed it, nothing special but quite a good little diversion of a game. Visuals are nice although as already said, it can be a bit hard on your system.

looks good but felt very meh to me.

If it had been done more free roam like stalker it would have been epic.

thats what i liked about it it was a bit like Stalker, without the free roaming, i just cant get on with those type of games.

One of my fave games of last year, and definately worth the money.

I think if it had the free roaming, it WOULD pretty much be stalker. It is made by some of the original stalker dev team after all. I'm glad it's a pretty linear game. If you want to roam and spend days exploring, then you have stalker for that.

I'm currently playing through metro now and I'm enjoying it. Just picked up the 6 slot shotgun and AK-47. My only complaint is that the AI are a bit too sharp and detect you too easily, and the gunfights could do with that extra bit of polish. I sank 7 shotgun rounds into an enemy from about 3 meters and he still didn't drop. Other times, you can kill someone with 3 bullets from your standard revolver.

Apart from that, it's a great game.

One of the better games of this year, it particularly excels at atmosphere. It is a tightly scripted corridor shooter though so comparisons to Stalker are somewhat misleading but it does it well and it actually adds to this sense of claustrophobia. I'd say my only gripe with it is that it's something that could've been really great with that bit more spit and polish.
