Metroid Prime 3

Sorry to dig up an old thread:

Ive been playing it again today, did from just after the Elysia seed boss to the save within the pirate seed.
Ive only played MP3 in patches tbh since i got it. Did all the way to Elysia on my first go on it. Then did the Elysia boss a few months later, then left it on the pirate homeworld, and ive picked it up again today, but its a brillient game.

The only thing i dont like is how much tougher the pirates are in it compared to previous games. They take ages to kill without hyper mode and dont half deal out some damage themselves! :p.

Argh! Everytime this thread comes up I'm compelled to play it again. Oh for 30 hour days!

Yes, the pirates are much tougher, but isn't that because they're enhanced by all the Phazon? I think they needed to toughen them up, because the controls are so slick you'd pick them off easy otherwise.

I think, actually, it's my favourite Wii game. (Even over Mario Galaxy  :p) I'm hoping they sell-out and do Hunters on the Wii, lol.

Brawl > *

But an online version of hunters on the Wii would be amazing. It annoys me that they copped out with mp3 and didn't make it online.

I've left picking up No More Heroes, Battalion Wars II and Zack and Wiki because I just never get round to finally finishing off my games. I've still got Zelda on the VC I need to complete too, having never touched it on the SNES.

That is a classic game, one that will never get boring. I would put the Snes Zelda next on your list.

I've not got Brawl yet, so :p (BTW, what control method do you use for Brawl?)

I agree, it was a bit of a cop out - especially as they had other bounty hunters in the game that could have worked really well online.

I know, I know :p

How does it handle with the Wii control options? I'll go back on topic after I promise!

(Vague on topic - is Samus any good :p)

Fine if you're not hugely competitive, they're very customisable too.

Samus is slower than her melee counterpart but packs a big punch. Fun to play as :)

Well Ridley was easy. :(.
I was expecting him to be uber-hard and very annoying, with hundreds of go's needed to beat him like in Prime1. But he was a doddle. Still have 80% of my health left at the end of that fight?
And considering all the reviews complain about gathering the cells at the end, im a little suprised, as i had all the ones i needed to get to where i needed to go without searching around?
Just the last 'planet' to do now, although i might skulk around and see if i can get every power up first though.
