PS: Before anyone says the R-word, it's had all the grot cut out and fresh metal welded in. It's solid now. :) Probably better than when it left the factory...

Damn that interior sucks! :o

Do you not agree that there's something perversely wonderful about driving around in something that looks like a complete grandparents car...but with arginal ground clearance, a big turbo lump under the bonnet and widened stock steels?

;)

Why, I'm currently doing the exact same thing ;)

Bar the wheels of course.

Although, I actually like my car. Rather than being some guy who drives an old Metro with a big engine to peeve people off for the hell of it. Nothing wrong with that though!

I was so close to getting one of these about six months ago.

I really wish I had got it and not the new conservatory, mainly cos it would have been £5k cheaper than the conservatory, but you can guess whaich one her indooors wanted :(

See...The Talon is a good idea...but it's shockingly expensive compared to DIY...

So when you lowered it, was that by it's natural loss of suspension fluid, or simply that that the suspensions has punched it's way through the rot infected body mounts?
Sorry, I'm old enough to remember when these were very common and drive my mothers and sisters several times. Hateful nasty cars, regardless of how fast they are. Talking of speed, if Renault got their turbo'd 5 to 60 in 7.5 seconds, how come MG took 10 seconds for the same?
