I've driven all 3 within the last month.
The TF whilst being nice to look at is a horrid car, the interior is grim, the driving position sucks and I couldn't live with reliability issues.
The Mr2 is a much better car than the TF but doesn't feel as planted as the MX, the cabin design whilst being better than the TF doesn't wrap around you like the MX and I hate the shiny plastics.
The MX5 handles the best, has the best driving position got the biggest usable boot space, is the most reliable out of the 3.
Its a no brainer really, the MX5 has been the best roadster since 89 for a reason, that cause its a superb car at every level.
If you want any info what 7 - 8k will buy you then let me know.
