MGS

Hopefully it will be moddable, if not then someone will crack it open anyway because we hate locked games.

Perhaps mod in a ReX or hardcore mode or something...

Not even 2 hours for me when I played it on ps3. It is a shameful practice that they get away with on consoles as people are just desperate for any decent game close to release. I will wait on pricing, but yeah, not impressed.

I remember my aunt paying £50 for turtles in time on the snes and that could be completed in 30 minutes or so. £20 for a 1 and a half hour campaign plus some side missions that take about 30 minutes each isn't that bad value on my opinion

It isn't even about value. Gaming has been fine over the years without this kind of thing, Not looking forward to the day when all publishers try this. Looking forward to Elder Scrolls VI?...well here is 2 hours of it for £20. You can buy the rest in a few years time!

How many big AAA titles have released prologues? I can only think of one other and that was gt5.

I'll get GZ, genuinely interested in what it will look like on PC, Got it for PS3 and considering its old tech I was still impressed with the visuals.

Don't buy them then?

I can think of a few prologues....The Tanker mission in MGS2, which was not sold separately for £20, and the Virtuous mission in MGS3, which again, was not sold separately for £20.

The tanker mission was a free demo given away with Zone of Enders.

Yes a lot of people bought Z.O.E just to play it, but you can't really argue it was a paid for demo.

Incidently I put about 15-20 hours in to completing the various missions with MG5: Ground Zero's. Definitely got my money worth.

There's plenty to do, it just happens to happen over one large base location.

Did the japanese version of GZ get extra missions? I was watching Uknighted stream a while back and he was on the jap version and he was playing as MGS1 Snake.
