CQC is very dodgy but I don't have much of a problem with the auto aim. It does sometimes go crazy just randomly pointing some crazy direction.

I really like one of the maps (don't know whats it called but its the smaller one) the other map is a bit iffy I think its to big.

I hope they release more maps for the beta.

Thats enough for me for one day as well, it was worth hanging on for that last game to chase a box around the map then follow it down into the underground and get run over by a barrel though !

I think the CQC effectiveness seems to vary by the weapon you have equipped.

Hopefully ill be able to connect soon, sent an email to konami asking if they knew what was wrong and why i couldnt connect, just waiting for a reply

im an objective/teamplayer so from what ive read this game will suit me.

The servers went offline last night about 2am, for maintenance, possibly why you couldnt connect then.

So far, apart from the iffy CQC the only things that have bothered me about it have been my own fault at least partially:-

1) D'oh moments where as I lie on the ground dead I'm thinking *why did I do that ?*, like for example attempting a shootout with mcwildcard at a distance when I know perfectly well he's using a sniper rifle, and missed opportunities to lay claymores.

2) The X button is my enemy, direction + x to roll, oh no you don't ! you're going to lie down in front of the enemy instead and die a horrible and embarrassing death !

nope have been unable to connect to the server since they went live, im just wondring if its because my isp is aol

Are there any UK AOL users that are able to get on to the beta here? I have been asking around and a quite a few AOL users are having problems like me.
Anyone else?

Just had a few games, the auto matching seems to work very well, all seemed as cack as each other lol! Getting the hang of CQC now, its very dependent on which weapon you have equipped, 2 handed weapons just aren't that great for cqc IMO. Kinda of got hang of the gameplay more, its more of a see the enemy and stalk him in cover until the perfect time to strike, its different to COD4 or other FPS/TPS games. Still think its funny when you see a cardbox wander passed with an enemy in it and just blast him.

Is your PS3 in the DMZ? I had to do that to mine on VM to get it to work right.

Yea it is, i put it on the DMZ last night so that i could download the 2nd update.

Just been doing some quick research and it may be becasue of the way AOL works by assigning US isp to Uk users and due to the region lock on the beta its thinking that we are americans trying to log onto the EU beta, but saying that, ive checked my isp and it says its in the UK so ive no idead whats going on, maybe ask AOL for help?

Yea, i think i might have to give em a call. That should be fun

The error code is (090B:00000001)

The odd thing is that if i enter an incorrect PW or my real one it still gives me that same code....

Just talking to pyroboy about this problem, would using a proxy to change the IP for AOL help? I'm sure thats how some people are getting passes the region locks on the game.

Exactly the same m8, ive used the isp numbers from *** speedtest website and enterd them here http://www.melissadata.com/lookups/iplocation.asp, what im thinking the problem is that AOL may cycle them as the numbers i got from the speedtest site isnt the same as the 1 in my router page, alos tried that and also says location in UK.
