MGS4 online beta thread

when i try and update, it just tells me its going to be released on the 21st :( i was up to 30% btw. damn, seems like the server errors did mean something.
 
I saw a thread on here the other day about people signing up to the beta? I can download it but will I actually be able to play it unless I sign up?
 
Seems logical releasing the patch before launch, gives people a few days to update, otherwise it would be a complete nitemare.
 
Beta download is taking it's time! It took almost an hour for me to get 10% :confused:

Anyone know if it will continue downloading while I play Stardust/Burnout/Everybody's Golf?
 
Just got home.

Download won't even start on mine, can't even get anything to come up on the Playstation Store.

I got the client download fast enough (about 800k a sec). But getting same problems as others getting the 1.01 update. It sometimes says I have to quit the game and I ain't be bothered so I will do it later on. It's not like you will get to see anything early.

Annoying they didn't bother to think about bandwidth requirements. Maybe it is a Euro thing as for the Japan and USA betas they got codes so they would know the exact numbers to expect, whereas here it is a freebie and every man and his dog wants it!

You would need to be ingame to continue downloading.

Im at 21%, ooo nearly a quarter :o
 
Well i got and installed the demo, but i can only get to the agreement page and then it times out, i take it to get the update bit i need to get past this ?
