Mhz in memory ? noticeable difference ?

Lol @ the drama over nothing :p

IMO Yes! Ram speed does make a difference on overclocked sandybridge CPU!

Therefore you should buy nothing other than the latest 2400 Mhz stuffs, I know I woud :p :p :p

Faster RAM with an overclocked Sandy Bridge CPU can make some difference.

It depends if the extra cost is worth it.

The price of 1866MHz DDR3 isn't too bad as you can get 16GB at OcUK for not much more than £100.

2133MHz DDR3 is harder to justify as it's double the cost of 1600MHz DDR3.

2400MHz DDR3 is even harder to justify as a 16GB kit is four times the price of a 16GB 1600MHz DDR3 kit at OcUK and the required voltage for the kit at OcUK is a touch high for Sandy Bridge.

Thats not the point, the point is for other non SB systems, particularly Llano it does have a large impact, whilst Daves response to the OP knowing that he had SB wasnt wrong, to any casual reader it read that it was the case for all scenarios, which its not

Not accusing anyone in this thread of it, but some people on here have a little knowledge and try handing it out carte blanche and are often wrong, as one scenario isnt the same as all, as this thread had demonstrated

A little knowledge can be very dangerous :p And no thats not to say Ive never been wrong either BTW

All Surveyor was doing was clarifying Daves answer for other readers

I wouldnt actually buy the 2400 Mhz stuf, its far too expensive. But the £150 2133 Mhz stuff is nice if you are willing to spend that much.

If you have the budget for it, I would by it.
