I don't know what the current climate about Michael is, is it OK to talk about him in a positive light? I cant even remember if he was guilty or not.

I just watched X - factor at my sisters and I can tell you it brought back some good memories of Michael's music, I used to love him :D Thriller, Smooth Criminal and Bad, wow they where something new, no one had seen anything like that before. I've just been watching it on Youtube and I still think its awesome.

A troubled mind, but a beautiful musician.

Does anyone here still like and listen to his music?

I dont fault the guys music, it's *****' genius but it makes me cringe when i see pics of him or hear him talk, he's a mentalist, such a shame.

Insanity and genius often walks a fine line. I'm not sure what to think of him now, I kind of feel sorry for him, and at the same time disgusted. His musical creativity was second to none.

Edited.

The way i see it is he's a product of a warped 'childhoodless' childhood. The reason hes a bit off is because he never really got a chance to be a kid, so he lives it out as an adult.

Its just a shame hes a brilliant musician. Love his music

agree with sarutobi about the childhoodless childhood thing... same kinda thing happed to britney and she went crazy too.

Michael's music was pretty impresive and I am a fan of it.

I listen to MJ sometimes, as the rest though i cant really look at his face because his nose and eye's make me cringe, But his music is still awesome stuff.

Awesome vocalist and dancer. You will never again get another MJ. Billy Jean is probably one of the best songs of all time.... just something about that drum beat and that fat baseline that makes me wanna kick my shoes off and do a feeble attempt at moonwalking

I attempted that before and made a fool of myself. I thought I was good though. :D

LOL. I love his music and also have tried (and failed) many times to moonwalk. I actually know a couple of people who can do it quite well

The way I reconcile it is to separate the music from the man, he is a disturbed individual and with the childhood and life he has had that seems to have been almost inevitable, however the music (at least the earlier albums) are brilliant, superlative pop that may never be bettered.

Couldn't agree more - the Smooth Criminal video is still one of the best choreographed vid's I've ever seen

Say what you will about the man, yes he's eccentric and he may well have dubious sexual orientations. But I believe that he genuinely thinks he's done no wrong.

It's not up to us to judge - I'll still enjoy his music :)
