micro 16GB SD?

Hi I have a 16GB micro SD card and trying to flash something on to it using etcher. When doing so the card goes from 14.7GB formatted and when flashing it goes to 35.2MB free of 56.8MB. I would tell you what im trying to flash but its frowned up on in forums especially gaming forums but its not what you might think it is. But I will say I love raspberry pie for desert its kind of retro pie. Any idea why this is happening?.

Sounds like you're mounting an img file

I'd download the img file again, try again and with a different program.
