Hey guys, iv been having a think I'm buying a iMac and I still want to do some gaming but don't want a huge gaming rig so thourght of a micro ATX case to build one.

I haven't really looked at spec yet but maybe ivybridge gtx670 or 680. Not sure if I will be overclocking yet.

What sort of case would you guys recommend?

nice rig, although do you really need w7 pro? I'd just get home premium and get a different cooler like the h100, also, do you need the blu ray drive?

If you are trying to go small, you should definitely look at the sizes of the cases more closely. Just because a case can only fit Mini-ITX does not mean it is smaller than cases that can fit Micro-ATX. Below are sizes of the cases talked about in this thread, plus a couple more SilverStone ones:

41.2 liters - Fractal Design Arc Mini
36.3 liters - BitFenix Prodigy
35.9 liters - In-Win Dragon Slayer
32.5 liters - SilverStone FT03
32.4 liters - SilverStone PS07
30.2 liters - SilverStone TJ08-E
22.5 liters - SilverStone SG03-F
22.0 liters - SilverStone SG01/SG02

I say go Bitfenix Prodigy Im getting one in a couple weeks Cannot wait!! Its a great case for its size!

Full size gpus!

230MM fan in the front
2x 120s in the top
140 in the rear.

Or you can put a rad in the top! Amazing little thing.

Good point. But when I wear my fedora hat, and some dress boots, I do look 6' rather than 5'6" (I'm a short guy)...
26.35 liters without shoes or a hat. We could have compromised all the features of the case just to fit a mATX, but design, style, flexibility and functionality were all considered into the Prodigy. You can kiss the radiator and the heatsink support if it were any smaller (compromise).

If anything the chart shows how much space it takes up on a desk with regards to motherboard form factors and nothing about features, style, and functionality.

You can say the same with E-atx cases or XL-atx cases. Some cases the size of mid towers fit an e-atx/xl-atx motherboard, but it can't do A, or B, but a maximum of C.

well to be fair, the volume you quote includes the dimensions of the handles and feet.
so if i were to make a guesstimate, the prodigy should, in acutal working space volume, ie the mount of space actually in the enclosure be about the same as the ps07/ft03

less. 26.35L puts it right under Tj08-e

xbournex, is there any chance that the white prodigy is getting a steath enclosure for the 5.25" bay....i cant find any white fascia optical drives to match the white prodigy...and it irks me lol
