Hi,
Any thoughts on the following spec? The motherboard and CPU are not final selections as I'll be making the decision once the broadwell-e chips and related updated motherboards are released. I want a good machine, small form factor to be more mobile, that will last 5+ years, only requiring minimal upgrades (GPU).
A few things. I don't mind spending extra so if better memory or cooler etc would be better then please advise.
I haven't included a power supply as I'll be reusing an 860w seasonic.
I also have two SATA SSD's (480GB intel 710 I think or 30 and an 520 240GB), one of which I could use but if one of the newer offerings would be much better then let me know. I've seen PCI-E mentioned and NVM but know nothing about them, only the older SATA's.
I prefer air coolers but I believe the fans in the case only serve the lower section of the case where the drives are so a water cpu cooler is recommended according to a review I watched through
