Microphone default recording source instead of line-in? (X-FI)

Hey guys,

I have a anoying problem. Since I did a fresh install for my X-FI now uses the Line-In as default instead of microphone.

It means that everytime I need to use microphone such as answering a call on skype, I have to manually going into the X-FI options and select microphone.

Anyone know how to set the microphone as default?

Would save me a lot of stress

Maybe something got changed in Windows.

Have a look in Control Panel::Sounds And Audio Devices::Voice.

There should be a tick box somewhere to make sure XFi control panel is synced with Windows audio CP. If it's not synced it may be switching back to Windows setting when you reboot.

In the main mixer console go to speaker & headphones settings & there should be a synchronize with Windows Control Panel tick box.

skype also has a setting which is called let skype adject settings automatically. this reverts to mic as default for me which i did not want but for you it may help
