Microsoft ACPI-Compliant System code 28

Guys been looking to sort this but all i can find is out of date information.

Any ideas as its showing under device manager under other devices

AFAIK code 28 just means that the device driver isn't installed. It isn't specific to any one component.

Are the chipset drivers installed?

You'll need to provide more information if it's something less obvious.

all drivers are installed still not sorted,

what info do you need ??

Some idea of what the hardware is, and what drivers have been installed.

And what did you do prior to the error occurring?

it was a fresh install of win 7 64bit on below

ASUS P8-Z77 V premium
I7 3770k
kingston ssd as boot drive
NVIDIA 660TI,306.02 driver
IRST 11.2.0.1006
Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility V9.3.0.1019
latest bios

It will have a hardware ID or PID in the information, usually this gives clues (write them here and/or google them)

hi bremen1874 just sorted it, it seems that Intel Smart connect needed to be installed?
