Microsoft and PS3 launch

The thing is, their slogan was funny, light hearted and in good humour. It wasn't a vicious attack and done in a 'nice' way. Kudos to MS there.

I think MS's attitude with PR stunts like this is very immature, but damn funny! I think these childish stunts are great :D It wouldn't be that surprising if they pulled moonies out of the side of the boat.

Indeed. MS seem to have got to grips with their target audience with the sponsorships/pr stunts/viral adverts this generation in comparison the "seriousness" of the original Xbox.

They should have launched a massive X into space to eclipse the moon, so that it looked like the XBox Guide button on the controllers.
If any company could afford a PR stunt like that then it would be MS :D

I'd rather they made sure they had some decent titles of their own to launch. The last few months have been very dry and so is april.

Other than GRAW 2 there hasnt been a highly rated title since GOW.

I did think of crackdown but then most people seemed to get bored of it in a day or so. I never read that stunning a review of it either.

When you look at whats new out for the 360 and whats due, there aint a lot really til may/june.

Makes a shiny new ps3 all the more tempting.

Aye, May / June does look like pretty exciting and we could do with one of those titles being released early. At least there's a huge back catalogue of class games to dive back into.

Shivering Isles comes out next week though and that will see me through.

I'm personally disappointed Armored Core despite being released in the US last week isn't out in Europe till May!

How much of that is to do with the Halo 3 beta test (when it happens)?

Probably not as much as people think. Hardcore Halo fans would have already have registered for beta.

I think it has more to do with the fact that there's a core 360 crowd that move from game to game, guaranteeing 500k sales and this was the one for feb.

I remember when ZOE was released on the PS2 it had the MGS2 demo on it, many got the game at first just for the demo but found they enjoyed the game anyway!
