Is there any point taking the Windows Server 2003 exams with the new Server 2008 coming out in the new year? I am meant to be doing them but i think it would be a waste of my time and double the effort to do 2003 and find they are worthless in 6 months time.

i'm mid doing my 2003 mcsa exams
i'd say it's still worthwile doing them
a) it will be a long while before 2008 is the common server
b) it's just an upgrade between the two, you dont have to do the full lot again

From what I can see 2008 is a completely new build, using technology from Vista (we all know what a hit that has been!)

Abraham, that is my thinking, though having to do upgrades is a bit of a nuisence! Also I doubt the courses or learning material for 2008 will be out until the summer.
