I believe (and really hope) that in a business environment it won't get through WSUS, none of the domain machines I look after have even not the upgrade icon on them, so thats something as at least two of our big clients have programs that won't run on 10.
As for home it should stay an option IMO but I can see what MS are doing, they don't want the XP mess again, we are still try to get a handful of customers to update from XP but it's like banging your head against a brick wall, so I can see why MS are doing what they are doing.
