Aha, so that's what they announced.

Lets all put cold drinks on a rather expensive table so the condensation goes everywhere, and whilst we're at it, let's chuck a Zune in to scratch it.

Not sure if I can justify a 5k coffee table to the missus but if I start nagging now they should have dropped a grand or so by the time she agrees :D

Edit: I was going to say that this could be an avenue for a high-tech branch of traditional office 'arse photocopying'.

I really think this technology could totally revolutionise how people use with computers when their out and about. There really are so many possibilities. I don't think the touch screen interface is the most exciting thing though, I think the fact that you have total integration between all of your mobile devices.

Yup, looks great, much more sexy than the Atari Asteroids and Defender pub game tables.
 
BBC website says they are aiming for the consumer market with this product in around 3-5years. They currently cost upto 5grand
