Microsoft unbundles IE from Windows 7 for Europe

lol people bash IE and say firefox is better and they then thread bash about MS removing it from the componants.

I say nice move Microsoft, aslong as it lets users install it back on via the componant menu.

People arent bashing microsoft, they've removed it because of being told to by the EU

No, what I ment was before people were slating IE and was talking about how it was naff e.t.c now they turning it off by default talk has risen again.

I think the slating of IE has died down a lot in recent years, since they actually took notice of the market and included the must have features. IE7 was a massive step in the right direction and IE8 is even better, not saying it's the best in the market but it's certainly not significantly worse than anything else like it was back in the IE5.5/6 days.

it's going to be back to the days where you could pickup a CD with IE7 (was it 7 or 5/6?) from nearly EVERYWHERE for free. or AOL etc bundeled it with every orders.
expect it will be on USB stick now tho. maybe some REALLY tiny drive, say 512Mb or one like this

There'd be no point, CDs are still much cheaper.
