everytime I come to put in a drawring or a text box this appears

how do I get rid of it?
also is there a way I can make certain pages I want in one big document landscape?

double click the text box button and then click anywhere on the page but not inside the box that appears this will let you draw your text box wherever you want.

can I just stop that box coming up ? on other pcs it doesn't

im not sure do you have the same versions of word on all the other pc's

yeh I just want to get rid of the create your drawring here box that comes up everytime I click a drawring tool

It is in the options somewhere.

Untick drawing canvas.

Got 2007 so can't give you exact details.

No no it does.

1. click 'Tools' menu then 'Options' option - see a tabbed dialog.
2. click on the 'General' tab.
3. look at the bottom of the list of options.
4. ensure that 'Automaticlay create a drawing canvas when inserting AutoShapes'
is NOT selected.
5. click OK
