Microwave any recommendations?

Not fussy on colour, just reliability.

Went for a KENWOOD K25MB14 cause it was on offer.

Thanks for the reply, I've just put that one on "reserve" too so I will pick it up instead of the first one. Also stainless steel front matches the cooker and I've heard that the best ones have stainless steel inside so hopefully this one does.

A little late but we just replaced our Panasic inverter with another one, the old one lasted about 8 years of very heavy use

(and my parents original one bought in the late 80's/early 90's lasted nearly 20 years).

I believe the one I have has a glass or ceramic bottom. I think glass and then the sides are grey unsure of stainless steel or not of the top of my head. Found it to be amazing so far best microwave I've used.

Pretty much any £50 will do, one from aldi still going after 5 years.

you should google how invertor microwaves work.

you can set an exact amount of power to use rather than the microwave turning on and off for a percentage of overall time whilst it's still spinning. it's a much better way to microwave food.
