C2D E6400
2Gb PC6400
Gigabyte DS-3P Rev 2.0 so stuck at 1066FSB
Corsair 520w PSU
BFG 8800GTS 640Mb OC and 6600 for projector
Several hdds.
LianLi PC7B case

I am looking to upgrade my machine to something a bit quicker. I have about £400 - £500 to play with, not overly fussed about going to i5/i7 at the moment. I would also like to get a 1.5Tb drive to consolidate my 5 other storage drives.

So what suggestions do people have?

Cheers Kimbie

Mobo Gigabyte UD2 £87
CPU i5 750 £160
RAM 4Gb GSkill Ripjaw £68
GFX card Sapphire 1Gb 4890 £150
Total £465
Edit: forgot about your storage drive, but the one Id recomend, Wester Digital Cavair Green is out of stock atm, so save up a bit more and get one of these when back in, £87 for 1.5Tb, also your 520W should be fine for this, in case youre wondering

do you NEED it to go faster, or just want it to go faster, if you have processing problems what are you having problems running ?

to start off i'd get the new hard drive, then if your having issues gaming a new gfx card, either a 4870/4890 from ati or the 260 from nvidia.

if your not gaming then i wouldnt bother upgrading the gfx card.
