Mid Range Upgrade

Ok so I currently game on a 8800GT (512mb) card but I am looking to update my PC a little (wife says cheaply )

Monitor is 1680x1050 so i am looking at a mid range card, which would offer best value for money? The 5770 or 260GTX?

I would thin kof getting a 4890 instead of the GTX260 and then decide whether DX11 was worth getting the 5770.

Second hand GTX260 maybe?

Either go for a 1g 4870/4890 or a 5770 (You can Xfire them later on).

All of them are cheaper than a GTX260
