This looks stunning, been awhile since I played a LOTR game think it was back on the PS2.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor – Nemesis System creates procedurally-generated enemies
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor orcs are individuals: no two are the same, and no two players will have the same encounter with these foes, according to the game’s director of design Michael de Plater.

It looks pretty good. Definitly one up be keeping an eye on. My Lotr lore knowledge goes as far as the extended films and that's it so I'm sure I'll be able to enjoy it in ignorance of the wider materials out there

That really does come across as somewhat poor. What has it to do with LotR? How has Sauron 'left you for dead'?

The game itself looks generic and dull and could just as well be Conan, Chuck Norris or Harry bloody Potter.

I think this looks pretty good tbh. Not brilliant, but pretty good. I will likely get it. The combat is getting very good reviews. Release is only a few weeks away!

It does look pretty good, lore aside, I like the game mechanics. I'm sure it will be worth the price of a gifted copy :p

Looks great, batman like combat system or AC not sure which. The nemesis system looks great but i have seen that one where you explode the grog to draw him out 3 different times but with a different looking orc (on the play throughs i have watched so far).

So is it a case of finite amount of mission with a infinite amount of Orcs thrown on top. Gonna keep an eye on this game as its got my interest. i am a tight git who likes his steam deals and has to make every penny count in this tight economic climate ( thats what i like to tell myself) :D
