Midnight Club LA

I bought this for £25 and love It.
but for some reason I can only play It via the cockpit view which
Is strange because I usualy find this Impossible In all car games.

The delivery missions to me seem Impossible so well done
for completing them.
I know there are short cuts but I end up finishing the delivery about 30 seconds to late lol.

I hope It wont get to the point were I wont get new missions until I complete
the deliveries?

Multiplayer wise I never see anyone online so I just Ignore that part now sadly.
 
Picked this up cheap yesterday,hooked up my DFP,and i,ve got to say,though it seems pretty difficult,its good fun too.
Going to have another blast now:)
 
Not liking it even for £18, I think PGR has spoiled me because when I play a racing game on the 360 I just hate it, the handle is crap, the rubber band catch up is boring, just not liking it. The races are just so samey its tedious.
 
Midnight Club LA can be frustrating to the point where I want to throw my controller.

The AI cars keep right behind you no matter how well you drive, no matter how many shortcuts you take and how many corners you cut, they will be there waiting to pass you as soon as you clip a parked car near a junction towards the finish line...

Need for Speed Undercover on the other hand, will have you finishing races towards the end of the game with 20+ seconds lead time on the next player. There are some odd exceptions where the computer players can accelerate out of corners faster than you can, but most of the time they are left behind. The handling is dog awful, can pretty much floor it round all corners, or just let go on the big ones and let the car brush against the side, losing little speed.
 
Got this for £17.99 and loving it!

Love my 1983 Golf Gti with BBS LM's. Hmmmmm, made it just how i would like it in real life.

Really impressed by it.
 
Game can be quite frustrating at times but now that I have EMP it's slightly easier!

Been hammering this tonight. Didn't like it at first but have really gotten into it.

It's really frustrating at times though, like when you miss your turn and your belting it down the road. :(
 
Does anyone know how to unlock the tuner/motorbike/exotic/muscle champs?? I've done the luxury one but these wont seem to show up, i've fully ranked up on all of them, i've maxed out my rep? Won 40 races with each.

I've still got the 'dub' tournaments to do, but all my other missions are just for making money not for beating anyone.

Any ideas??
 
Its a good game but like others say can get very frustrating missing your turn or hitting cars on last corner,current fave cars are the vw scirocco,evo and dub edition murcielago the yank tanks do my head in though lol,but was worth the £19 i paid for it :)
 
I've been playing this for the last week or so. It's decent, but I do wonder sometimes what the actual aim of anything is, as I just keep getting a never-ending random list of missions in the event log.

Love the motorbikes though, makes it much easier providing you don't crash :p
 
Love this game as well :D. Played it for a round a week and finally got my skyline! I'm finding it's getting a bit repetitive now, and i always seem to get smashed online :(, but the vehicle mods are enough to keep me entertained.
 
I've not played it for a while, since my brother did the Camero Dub first time in a Golf and I can't do it after seven times in all manner of different cars...
