***Midweek Football***(Spoilers within)

Best half of the season for Liverpool. We scored a goal, we didn't concede and no one got injured :D

Joking aside we've sucked yet again. Mascherano and Ngog are the only two players who look interested. Aurelio, Gerrard and Kuyt (again) have all be hopeless.

I'm sure we'll win tonight but we deserve to go out :(
 
This Ref is terrible! 2 penalties, a foul on Denilson (which led in the end to the goal) and a foul where to Standard players took each other out!

Thats 3 penalties we should have been given this season that haven't :(
 
Liege should have had a penalty I reckon. Great goal by Nasri even though it was Liege's mistake rather than great play by us. Denilson's goal was amazing but their keeper was poor. :)
 
I still can't make out, did the ball hit the bar or the tips of the keepers fingers (Denilson's goal)?

We're still one of three sides in the EPL that haven't won a penalty this season*, all because of all those self righteous ****'s after Eduardo.

*Considering how much we attack in almost all matches..

That was without doubt a penalty. The ref has been a bit lax, but he has let the play flow. NOT SURE IF WANT.
 
I don't think it hit the bar, and I don't know whether the keeper got his fingers to it, it did look like it, but the commentators suggested otherwise. Either way it was a sweet strike, his first game since September I think.

The keeper did get a hand to it. Not a bad first game coming back from a BROKEN BACK!
 
I think Eboue has played well back in the right back position, he is great backup for Sagna. Unfortunately I think that is as good it gets for him.

He's never struck me as being good enough for the first team. Sagna is a good full back.

Eboue is fantastic back up though.

Barca are killing Inter Milan.

I think Sagna and Clichy are the best full backs in the league. However I admit that I am wearing blinkers :D
