Greetings, recently i performed a migration from SBS 2003 - SBS 2003. Unfortunately it didn't migrate the active directory contacts.

Does anyone know if this is possible using the ADMT wizard?

Cheers

:)

It's a bit of a grey area, Contacts are active directory objects and dont come under the exchange migration process as far as i know.

If they were Contacts located in users mailboxes then yes it would come under exchange.

I did a 2003 server migration last weekend. I couldn't find a way of doing it either. In the end I just created them all manually again on the new domain. Luckily I only had 20-30.

Have managed to find a way around the problem and it's relatively painless, ended up using the LDIFDE utility to export and import, tried it in a virtual machine which worked a treat and has successfully moved the contacts too the new domain without any after effects.
