I've been a huge fan of this chap's work for many years, used his startup control panel religiously and it's saved me a ton of work. He's recently come out with a new program and although it'll have only limited use to me but for anyone who regularly uses graphical programs it could be a god send:

It's called crosshair and helps you line up items:

this is one of those things .. simple idea , well implemented & so simple its brilliant
