Milk Thieves! How do you stop them?!!

It wouldn't be hard to secure one of these with a couple of pop-riveted brackets and a padlock - you'll probably be able to find one big enough to accomodate a dinky bottle of milk. Only £2.99 too.

Or if you want something bigger, you could go for one of these. You'd get your sugar in there as well! A tad more at £14.95

what about if you cant them drinking your milk again wait till they go out turn the heating as high as it goes and pour milk all overthere beds the heat will make milk go off and stink then they have to sleep in the filthy theiving smelly beds.

pour the milk into a non see through container , i.e a diet coke can , or a health drink , something most people would not drink.dog

Best idea on this tread imho. I might try this myself!

It's true that milk is a major problem when you're sharing a house. I always make sure I buy in pints only (even if it's more hassle), as if someone just makes a cuppa with the milk it's still really noticable. I always peel the plastic top off only a tiny bit, so it looks unopened. Since I've done both those things, no-one's really used my milk...

It drives me nuts when I've got the right amount of milk to last me the week, but then it doesn't last long enough due to people using it. I went mad and one of my housemates owned up and bought me some more. Going mad is the way to sort them out!
