Yep, some people around here and there.

It was killed by...

1. Mining
2. Removal of Bigadv (Folding)
3. Electricity costs

I am on and off depending on my work and private life commitments.

If it wasn't for Dekez posting the weekly folding news I think it would go months without posts in here.

To add to Voicon's list:

4. Increasing choice of projects resulting in a spread of users and reduced competition from team members.

Sad to hear that :(.

I can see why electricity costs would cause people to scale back output, but it shouldn't stop them crunching altogether or being an active forum member, but I guess some people just can't handle crunching on 1 PC?

Re mining, do those that have switched to that not talk about it here then?

Interesting point, I know what you mean, which is at least 1 reason we have particular races in certain projects on an annual (etc) basis, to try to get the members to interact more.
AT DC forum has certainly got much quieter over the last 7ish yrs or so though.

I think so, there are still people doing it I believe although I haven't kept up to date, all the forums I am on the posting in crypto is dead. Not sure where Bitcoin is going now but to be honest I am glad I got out when I did, made my money and left although it was luck more than judgement :D
